What is 'sedlauncher.exe' in Windows 10?

All this unnecessary stuff that Microsoft are building into Win 10 is killing its usability for some applications.

In order to deal with this I have had no choice but to go back to using Windows 7 for these jobs as not being able to control what the computer does is not acceptable when you are either running time critical apps or where the setup needs to run for very long periods to process audio and video data.

I have also had to replace an SSHD in a system after only 8 months as it started failing due to the ridiculous amount of usage created by Win 10.

When will Microsoft realise they are systematically killing confidence particularly after the fiasco of Windows 8.

It's not the first time I hear that Micrsoft spyware  are responsible for frying  SSDs. I sslo noticed a second thing: whenever someone is running Win10 on a rather aging computer (I'm talking about age, not specs. I've seen one built frome 10+ years old components beating some currently sold at Costco.) the useless apps (sedlauncher, runtimebroker, compattel) seem to run on loop quite a lot more often. I'd like to remind you that Microsoft has priors why it comes to sabotaging user machines in order to force them to get a new one (remember Win 95 updating itself now and then to then refuse to launch with a message saying that this or that component was no longer supported, or MS pressuring gaming studios to add a line to newly released games to run an OS check and refuse to launch unless running Windows 95 even if the game was coded in Dos4WG).

I had similar symptoms.

Guys, some troll moderating the support section has hidden this thread. You can't find it anymore using the search engine on the top right corner, and you need to use an outside search engine to find it. So don't expect any support from Microsoft.
