I am desperately trying to get my camera back. first it came up with a error message. so I came here and someone said to uninstall the camera and restart the computer. I did that and now I cant find the camera icon in device manager. I came back here and asked again. I pretty much got the same reply but they said to go to action and "scan for hardware changes" I don't have that option and now im lost again. I don't get it because other than my firewall which ive since removed I have made zero changes to my computer and my camera was working 2 months ago and now its not. I don't know if there is an automatic update that I don't know about. but I went through the steps if it was updated and still nothing. it said if all else fails call the company that the camera belongs to, but I uninstalled so how am I supposed to know the name of it ?

I download the the bois stuff and driver updates on the manufacturers stuff but then it brings up files I don't understand on winzip. I have only been able to download intel. every other one I try to download it gives me a whole bunch of folders and when I click on it theres a lot of "<< " and radom words I don't understand. when I download the driver stuff from msi and it pops up in winzip what do I do then ? with all the different folders?
does it matter if its in imaging or not because my camera doesn't come up until I click show hidden and then its in its own category
it doesnt matter. everything i update and download i need to pay for, if i was told this i would have never got this thing. GE627RD471AC MODEL 1J69 i have been sent every step 500 times over. and now my camera icon is gone because i was told to uninstall it. im so frustrated. All for something that should be working
how do i get my icon back> so i can take it back to staples im so tired of trying to do this and getting no where when it should be working. ive officially spent 8 1/2 hours trying to get this back up and im in the same spot as i started or worse now that i dont even have the camera icon. balling my eyes out in frustration over this stupid thing
