Dear Community,
I am getting a very slow speed internet after updating to 1809.
I raised the issue Microsoft but have heard from them, it's been more than 45 days.
I am on 100 Mbps plan, I am getting the speed on my mobile phone but on my laptop, I am getting max download speed of 5 Mbps and upload around 30 Mbps.
I have tried updating the driver but it says I am on latest version.
Please, help.

I thought switching from Apple to Microsoft would make things run smoother.
It seems Microsoft offers various solutions instead of really ascertaining what the specific problem is. Is the user expected to try every suggested solution, in hopes that one of these will work?
Thank you JSBach16 ! This fixed it for a Dell PC. it was driving me crazy. Removed smartbyte and download speed returned to normal.
I have a 75/75 internet. I fixed my problem by setting the speed / communication of my network controller to 100Mbps HALF Duplex (even though my network card is 1000Mbps). I know it's not ideal because I can't reach the same speed by downloading / uploading at the same time, but at least the speeds are back to normal. Also try to leave at 100Mbps FULL, it may help.
This did nothing for me. Is there not a fix from windows? This is asinine. I have a brand new lap top running windows 10 that I have been using for 6 weeks, and had the internet slow to a crawl on it 4 times already. My current download speeds are 1.03 Mbps, while my cell phone on the same network is getting 65.1 Mbps. How is windows only supported operating system doing this?
Speedguide's TCPOptimizer has been a mixed bag for me but after a few hours of troubleshooting, saw this post you shared and it took me from 10-100 down to 8-900 down on my gig connection. This was soon after upgrading to 1903 and got the June updates. Appreciate it!
