This error usually comes up when there is a problem with the store on the Microsoft side. Usually the problem is resolved in a few days, please do not do anything with your phone, router or any other piece of equipment, no resets or reinstallations will make any difference and you may lose apps which are no longer available in the store. The solution can come only from MS and the only thing you can do is wait, no matter how frustrating it is.
Error 805a0193 on WP8.1 devices when downloading/updating apps from the Store - NOW RESOLVED
I recently bought a Nokia Lumina 640 because i want to get some windows phone games for achievents. The first thing i try and download gives me this error.
I have searched and searched and i cant find a definitive answer on what the issue is and how to resolve it. It seems to be some error with my network, but what error? Is it a port thing? What ports does it need?
I did the steps the microsoft website suggests, which were to: manually change my time, manually sync my email, make sure to update my microsoft account, and finally, to reset my phone. None of that worked so i am looking for real answers.

2018-12-09T23:06:37+00:00 You need to read the thread in full. The error wasn't about downloading the apps, it came up when INSTALLING THEM. If the app store is closed now it's probably to keep the problem from snowballing while technicians look into it.
It would be super nice if somebody put a notice up at the app store about this instead of relying on volunteer moderators who are not necessarily full-fledged Microsoft employees simply merge all the threads into one.
There are hundreds, if not thousands of Nokia and other users affected by this problem.
And there is NOTHING that you can do. Don't hard reset! This is Microsoft's problem to resolve and all a hard reset will get you is a phone without apps.
Windows 8.1 has not been supported in a year and a half (July 2017), so you have been using it at your own risk anyway. Your remedy may be to just get a new phone, especially if you cannot upgrade to the 10 Phone platform.
In the mean time, don't do anything rash and wait it out. If your phone works as a phone and still has old apps that work, use it as such until you get official word as to what to do.
Look at it this way, if your friend got indigestion you wouldn't perform CPR.

2018-12-09T22:39:05+00:00 I have a lumia 820 920 and 1520. I was not planning on buying anything until the MS actually turns off the app store. It seems like they have done just that, given the amount of users complaining here. Some of those phones are still among the best phones ever made. I have had Iphones and Androids, but MS gets into my hall of shame for this sneaky turn out!
I did get a message recently when I was trying to use the windows device recovery tool to reinstall the OS on the 1520: the message was notifying of some sort of end of support time and date, but I really did not pay attention. Somehow I was hoping to hold on to these devices until stop all updates.

2018-12-09T22:02:26+00:00 So ultimately you either wait for the problem to be resolved or you simply get a new phone and it's apps. I didn't come up with that answer, others who reported they did get a new phone did answer half of it.
I could have guessed as much when I found that the guy on You Tube who unboxed a 2016 HP Windows Phone and then upgraded it never followed up as he promised. Everyone asked him about it for several months.
But nobody wants to buy a new smartphone every few months, it's a phone, not food or medication etc, just a phone. I understand.
