Error 805a0193 on WP8.1 devices when downloading/updating apps from the Store - NOW RESOLVED

I recently bought a Nokia Lumina 640 because i want to get some windows phone games for achievents. The first thing i try and download gives me this error.

I have searched and searched and i cant find a definitive answer on what the issue is and how to resolve it. It seems to be some error with my network, but what error? Is it a port thing? What ports does it need?

I did the steps the microsoft website suggests, which were to: manually change my time, manually sync my email, make sure to update my microsoft account, and finally, to reset my phone. None of that worked so i am looking for real answers.

This error usually comes up when there is a problem with the store on the Microsoft side. Usually the problem is resolved in a few days, please do not do anything with your phone, router or any other piece of equipment, no resets or reinstallations will make any difference and you may lose apps which are no longer available in the store. The solution can come only from MS and the only thing you can do is wait, no matter how frustrating it is.

    Do you have any info why windows store is closed?

    It's not closed, there are server issues with WP8.1 devices accessing the Store. W10M devices can use the Store without any problems.

    I have the same error 805a0193 in WP8.1 of my Nokia Lumia 530. I need to install Whatsapp and it will not let me. Is there another way in which you can download the application that is not from the Store?

    No, there isn't.

    Same here with the good old Lumia 640 Dual SIM running Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2.

    1. Can't download any app from store, get Error 805a0193
    2. Can't update any app form store, get Error 805a0193
    3. Can't update Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 via the Update-Feature in settings
    4. Upgrade Advisor App to update to Windows 10 not available in store anymore
    5. Install Upgrade Advisor or any other App from local storage through store throws same Error, 805a0193
    1. Was never possible
    2. The Upgrade advisor app was not available in the Store even before the problem.

    This is software for PC so no point in opening this link from your phone.
