This error usually comes up when there is a problem with the store on the Microsoft side. Usually the problem is resolved in a few days, please do not do anything with your phone, router or any other piece of equipment, no resets or reinstallations will make any difference and you may lose apps which are no longer available in the store. The solution can come only from MS and the only thing you can do is wait, no matter how frustrating it is.
Error 805a0193 on WP8.1 devices when downloading/updating apps from the Store - NOW RESOLVED
I recently bought a Nokia Lumina 640 because i want to get some windows phone games for achievents. The first thing i try and download gives me this error.
I have searched and searched and i cant find a definitive answer on what the issue is and how to resolve it. It seems to be some error with my network, but what error? Is it a port thing? What ports does it need?
I did the steps the microsoft website suggests, which were to: manually change my time, manually sync my email, make sure to update my microsoft account, and finally, to reset my phone. None of that worked so i am looking for real answers.

2018-12-11T03:43:30+00:00 We can't do anything except moving to new phone/waiting.Yes, it seems like Microsoft silently plug offs Windows 8.1 version apart from Windows 10 mobile.I dunno about Windows 10 mobile users, I'm using windows 8.1 Lumia 530 model. From last Friday I couldn't download any apps from the store and also update. I was so upset and irritated with this error code problem. Dunno what to do, but I'll wait up to this weekend. If nothing happens with this problem, have to move to Android.Since there is no updates and new apps from last 2 years in Microsoft store, It's like compromising yourself to continue with Windows phone. But, Now the time changed and we have to move forward.** So, the decision is your folks !! make a good decision.

2018-12-10T22:12:52+00:00 Hello everyone. This has become a bit of a mess hasnt it?
After reading everyones solutions i i found a kinda resoution.
One reply mentioned that they recieved the error on their 8.1 phone but not their 10 phone. Which means the error is 8.1 specific and i made a mistake buying a 8.1 phone.
Then another reply mention the windows 10 mobile OTC (over the cable) updater. I looked into that. You download it from the microsoft website onto your computer. Then you plug your phone into the computer via usb cable and it updates your phone to winows 10. It took a while but it worked.
Now with a windows 10 phone i am able to download and update the games i wanted the phone for in the first place.
So that is the solution, update your phone to Windows 10. If you can not update your phone there may never be a solution. Some people have had this error for weeks. It is entirely possible that microsoft is done with 8.1.
Also keep in mind the windows phone is awful. You can go to your closes phone store and buy the cheapest android they have and it will be a better phone then the windows phone in your hand.
I bought this phone for two reasons and that is Final Fantasy 1 and Final Fantasy 3 with achievements. The solution i have outlined got me to those games so as far as i am concerned the problem is resolved.
Thank you all for your replys because i would not have found the solution otherwise.
If you are unable or unwilling to upgrade your phone, you have my sympothy. There may never be a resolution.

2018-12-10T18:44:13+00:00 My experience tells me, on the whole, that is extremely poor advice. I have had four Lumia phones. Three got bricked by Microsoft, and I'm beginning to wonder if it is a cynical and ruthless method of burying their 30 billion dollar balls up?
I bought recently an immaculate 1020, mint, because I love the styling the quality and the camera...Oh the camera!
Day one; I play about with it download some apps change setting to how I like them...I have yet to put in a sim..
Day two; The camera is staggering a full 41 megapixels of genius engineering, i take some pics and play a bit more.
Day three; I put a new sim into the phone and later on a message pops up about a critical update? I remember I had seen this earlier, maybe day2? I always am wary with Microsoft updates... The phone was working like a dream...
I installed the critical update...Oh god why did I do it? I could no longer download any apps and so on...
Now Microsoft had ceased support for this model a year ago...Why was this update suddenly available? Just to f**k me I think.
It gets worse, After trying everything I did a hard reset in frustration. When it restarted my Lumia camera had been replaced by the Microsoft camera, which rendered my lovely camera into a six megapixel bastard. It was worse than useless now. I did everything conceivable to pair the phone with the account and etc, etc etc for days I toiled. I can't tell you how much I hate them. I thought nothing could be worse than Apple for shafting loyal customers...Just scanning my room I count seven things poisoned by Microsoft.
If I don't get my 1020 useable again I will buy a friggin' Apple piece of...
Nobody knows what that error code means...they have been asking for years and never got an answer...what is that about? It's crazy. I mean literally crazy. An error code nobody knows what it is, phones were dropping like flies, Microsoft don't know, you don't know, I don't know and over six or seven years of asking through the whole internet, they don't know.
What a dogs **** of a company.
