High Definition Audio Controller (Code: 10) Issue

Motherboard: MSI B360M Gaming Plus

OS: Windows 10 Pro

List of things I've done:

Downloaded audio drivers from MSI website

Updated my BIOS

Uninstalled and Reinstalled the High Definition Audio Controller

cmd commands: sfc /scannow & DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

Completely removed all other audio drivers and installed Realtek audio drivers (Which for some reason never actually appear on device manager?)

I'd appreciate any help I could get.

It started happening out of the blue; I never downloaded anything.

    I tried many many things. 

    Solution that finally worked for me (don't skip any steps):

    1. Open device manager and Uninstall High Definition Audio Controller.
    2. Shut down (not restart).
    3. Unplug the power cable.
    4. Press and hold down the power button for 60 seconds.
    5. Plugin and turn on the laptop.

    I had the same problem. 

    Don't know how I really fixed it but what I did was

    Open Device Manager 

    Uninstalled the HD Audio Controller with the flag

    Uninstalled all non-hidden audio under sound, video and game controller section

    Shut down the laptop and then start it up again 

    Held down the power button for 50 seconds (I counted) 

    Unplugged the adapter 

    There is a small hole in the bottom of my msi, used a pin to click the button. It resets your battery. 

    Took a deep breath 

    Plugged in the adapter and turned on the laptop 

    Magically it reinstalled what I needed and my audio was back as if nothing ever happened.

    Took me half a day of playing around with settings, but this method worked.

    I´m laughing like an idiot.

    I pray you hit the lottery kind sir. You made my day brighter.

    This is just crazy how people pay a lot of cash(paid for my brand-new 1.5k euro+) for their gears and end up searching like crazy on forums for solutions.

    Soon we will need fire, hummer and fuel to fix them.

    Once again kind sir, I wish you and all your loved one all the best things from this world.
