Remove Wireless Projection Banner from Desktop screen

is it possible remove the new "Wireless Projection Banner" introduced in 1809 or at the very least move it so that it does pop-up every time I touch a tab in my browser?

    The simplest way to get it OFF once it's stuck.

    Step 1: press CTRL + ALT + DELETE

    Step 2: Select Task manager

    Step 3: search for explorer.exe in the Process tab

    Step 4: right-click > End process

    Step 5: in Task Manager click File > Run

    Step 6: explorer.exe - hit enter

    Voila - the ****  is gone.

    someone did figure it out, somewhere on i think the 1st or 2nd page of responses to this thread. it is only a temporary fix though; Ivan Ferrer (?) posted a permanent fix that prevents the bar from appearing, even after rebooting.

    the only thing i'm still waiting for someone to verify is if the permanent fix survives Windows updates as well, or if it needs to be redone with each new release version.

    Even after disconnecting from display the banner was there. The setting gear and the pin icon were not "clickable". I had to kill ShellExperienceHost.exe to get rid of the banner.

    I am also frustrated by this bar's persistence after I disconnect the TV through other menus. The workarounds and hacks help but, I hope Microsoft will fix this issue sooner rather than later. As of right now, I am suggesting that everyone in my company use HDMI instead of casting.
