Remove Wireless Projection Banner from Desktop screen

is it possible remove the new "Wireless Projection Banner" introduced in 1809 or at the very least move it so that it does pop-up every time I touch a tab in my browser?

Once disconnected the bar continues to be there and does not go away. Also the option to "unpin" is greyed out after it's disconnected so there's literally no way to make the bar go away w/o restarting my computer.

Does any body know what process is responsible for this banner so we can end it? I looked in the task manager window and it is not clear to me which one I should end.

Saw this on TechNet

Run Task Manager

Look for Windows Shell Experience Host process

Right click on it

End Task

For me what did it was to dont unpin the bar before disconnecting. After that it just works as usual again disappearing when disconnected

Please get rid of this banner. The way it is currently implemented is HORRIBLE. When my device is not connected to the display adapter, the banner needs to be GONE.

Nice fix Ivan. I was going to dig into this and chase that down. Now I don't have to.

Every time Microsoft thinks they're helping me, they just irritate me. This one is small, but particularly irritating.
