- Go to File Explorer. Then go to your C: Drive> Windows> System32. Alternatively, you can copy and paste C:\Windows\System32 into the search bar at the top of the window.
- Locate the file Windows.Internal.PlatformExtension.MiracastBannerExperience.dll.
- Right-click the file and then change the owner of the file by navigating to Properties> Security> Advanced.
- At the top change the Owner to Administrators (You may have to type 'Administrators' in the textbox at the bottom)
- Give 'Full Access' permissions to Administrators.
- Rename the file extension to Windows.Internal.PlatformExtension.MiracastBannerExperience.old.
- Reboot for the taskbar to be removed.
Hope this helps. Thanks.
