Having to rename Windows.Internal.PlatformExtension.MiracastBannerExperience.dll to disable this bar is so stupid but it looks like it's the only way.
I use Miracast instead of my HDMI cable to connect my laptop to an external display, and I love the freedom it gives me. But I hate this stupid bar that I can't close.
Auto-hide is not good enough because so many times I will accidentally click on it and cause it to disconnect
I'm a long time WIndows user but recently for 3 months I was using a MacBook Pro and fell in love the simplicity and ease of use of AirPlay, Apple's proprietary version of Miracast.
So back to Windows, I plugged in a Roku stick I had and started using Miracast a lot. And that means this issue is annoying me numerous times every single day.
