Remove Wireless Projection Banner from Desktop screen

I have this same problem. Why the hell does there need to be a projection banner? especially one that cannot be moved when it blocking your damn toolbars or tabs. Also it appears in your notification center when you are projecting. 

It is like you have no clue on how to notify the user that they Projecting and decide it good idea to hinder the user by placing the notification in the worst possibly place and then went oh there is notification center, lets added it there too. 

Another one of Microsoft lets not think thing though.

Add me to the list of users who finds this feature very annoying as implemented.  Options to shrink it, move it to different sides of the screen(s), put it on the main taskbar, or simply disable it altogether would be most appreciated. 

While extra functionality and simplification of the user experience is usually appreciated, a great many of us got along just fine without in the past.  Clearly, many of us don't see the point of toolbar at all.

is it possible remove the new "Wireless Projection Banner" introduced in 1809 or at the very least move it so that it does pop-up every time I touch a tab in my browser?

My problem is that the banner doesn't go away when the remote screen is disconnected. It exists, but all options are greyed out. How do I close it? I don't mind it there when it's connected because I can "unpin" it.

On my Rog scar iii Asus running win 10 64 bit.  It disappears if I click the notifications icon and expand it.  And then it disappears and I go anot my business.

also, can anyone verify if the .dll renaming survives Win updates, or if it needs to be redone after those?

I agree completely with this:

i don't think MS thought this through completely to realize that, unlike the remote desktop connection banner it emulates, wireless displays are used a LOT by regular users, home users, not just IT techs, sys-admins, etc.

I use it for work and at home and it drives me crazy - I have to end up rebooting a few times some days.  I'm glad to know if I disconnect with it it doesn't stay and cover the top tabs of the browser even though I may not be in range of the display I was connected to.  

The old way was just fine - using the pop-up to connect and disconnect.  I hate the way it pops down and covers my tabs when I am trying to project.  I'm doing training on a web-based system requires many tabs open and sometimes it's very hard to get to the tab I need to because the bar pops down when I get near it.  Please fix this.
