hello good luck
Microsoft account login password error
I just got a new computer. I am unable to register this device with my Microsoft account or use it to log into Microsoft because while it accepts my correct password at the first stage, it always claims my password is incorrect at the next stage when it prompts me to enter my password "one last time". I have made sure over dozen of tries that I am entering my password correctly, the same way, both times. I have changed my password to make absolute sure I know what it is.
I got to Settings > Accounts > Your Info > Sign in with a Microsoft account instead. First step, enter email address. Accepted. Second step, enter password. Accepted. Then, this prompt:
Sign into this computer using your Microsoft account
Next time you sign into this computer, use your Microsoft account password or, if you've set it up, your PIN or Windows Hello.
We'll need your current Windows password one last time.
The password you entered for your device is incorrect. Please try again.
No matter what I do, it always claims my correct password is incorrect. Please help!

How about trying to change the password?
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/402697...
If not possible then user Microsoft Account Recovery to reset password:

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and let us know how it goes. I will keep working with you until it's resolved.

None of that works. Those are the standard issue "remedies" you see all over the internet and not even one of them works. It's either the "oops...looks like our fault" message by MS or it'll tell you to reset your password then when you input a new password it accepts it but then asks you to log in again only to reject the password you just entered that was good seconds ago. It's a constant catch-22. THIS IS INSANE! These people are so preoccupied with security and getting all up into you business that the whole thing is literally broke now. They ask for stuff they don't even need while ignoring what is really important like how do you get in in the first place? GENIUSES!! I don't frustrate easily but I'm down with this. My Windows 10 is completely useless. It's merely a storage drive for my Windows 8.1 installs now. Every time you do manage to manipulate your way in using one of the thousands of accounts and associated passwords you were FORCED to create Windows 10 reinstalls settings all over again. You can't get anywhere that way it's crazy! I talked to their tech support and he was clueless. He admitted he wasn't even trained. I had to think of a temporary fix myself good for one time only just to get in. Yep, you guessed it. A new account name and password good for one log in only. They've literally threw the baby out with the bath water not focusing on what is important. I've got over 20 hours trying to fix this **** and I've been using a PC since the 70s and have worked tech support myself. These problem indicate MS servers where passwords are stored are not properly managing and updating accounts and associated passwords at all. You create new account after new account and it only ends up in a black hole somewhere. No one is really minding the store at Microsoft. Can't be. I even went into the registry and deleted the user profiles so there were no local accounts left on the PC. MS servers rejected all the various right account names with the associated right passwords every single time. In desperation I deleted the first user account I created when I first installed Windows 10. Here it is right here because I don't need it no more: ******@outlook.com. You want it take it and all the accounts I've created too. It's your headache now. If I had hair I'd be pulling it all out. I got a thousand account and a thousand RIGHT passwords and still no way in. I'M DONE!!
