Transferring data from eMMC C: Drive to a Seagate Backup USB Drive - the computer won't boot without a Windows 10 USB stick

I'm trying to recover data from an unbootable laptop with a eMMC drive. I can now see the drive and wish to copy it to my Seagate Backup Drive, but I have no mouse.

the Ctl + C & Ctrl + V from C: to Seagate do not operate. Also when I opened up te C: Drive it did not list all files :

How do I copy the C: Drive onto my Seagate Backup USB Drive?

And then how do I see the files that must be there but are not listed?

If you can answer in part I would be grateful.

    Hi,

    Do you have BitLocker turned on or something ? I am not sure why it would be locked...

    As far as copying your data... Just select the Command Prompt appearing in the Advanced Options of the first image you posted with the System Restore selection you tried...

    Enter Notepad and hit enter...  When Notepad opens click on the "File" tab, then open... You will see a somewhat normal Windows Explorer screen from which you can copy\paste just like from within windows...

    Like what is showing in the very first image you posted...

    If the drive is still locked this may not still work... If that happens try creating a bootable Flash Drive with Parted Magic...

    Here is a link to the one of the newest ISO downloads.... I am trying it now...

    If it has a problem I will let you know...

    A free tool called RUFUS will put it on a flash drive...

    Hi,

    I see that I forgot to post the link... Good thing... it would not boot...

    If you want to try and repair your current installation there are a couple of commands that might work...

    Regardless as to how you end up using the installation media, make sure you are booting from it in "UEFI Mode"... "UEFI Flash Drive" as opposed to simply "Flash Drive"... You can make this selection in Boot Options...

    This would normally require hitting something like F9, F11, F12, or whatever your machine uses... at the manufacturer's screen when you first boot...

    My Tablet requires that I push and hold the Volume - while then pushing and holding the power button... This actually generates an error, but gets you the screen where you can select the boot device...

    Not choosing the correct "UEFI Mode" MIGHT trigger the "Locked Drive" error message you are getting...

    Once you do this, open the command prompt in Advanced Options and enter these commands...

    BOOTREC /FIXMBR, and then press ENTER.

    BOOTREC /FIXBOOT, and then press ENTER.

    BOOTREC /REBUILDBCD, and then press ENTER.
