Audio problem on Logitech Z Cinema after October Update

As you said it is partly working now. I would suggest you to perform a clean boot and refer the Microsoft article under section ‘**How to determine what is causing the problem after you do a clean boot’**and ‘Reset the computer to start normally after clean boot troubleshooting’.

Disclaimer: A ‘clean boot’ starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs, so that you can determine whether a background program is interfering with your game or program. Your computer may temporarily lose some functionality while in a clean boot environment, however, that functionality will return when you reset the computer to start normally after you have finished your troubleshooting.

Hi,

I did that, "Uninstall Speaker Audio device from Audio inputs and outputs section and your audio device from Sound, video and game controllers section.", and everythimg is still the same, even after reboot.

I have Logitech driver installed, in device maanger now I can see that my speakers have name Z cinema with TruSurround HD, driver Microsoft 10.0.17763.1.

Volume control is partly working, I can change the volume but it's not "linear" as it was before. At begining goes rapidly up, then slows down.

Turning SRS on and off is still not working through remote controll, only in logitech app.

Try to connect it to different port and restart your computer.

Follow below mentioned steps and see if that helps.

1. Press Windows Key + X on your keyboard and select Device Manager from the list.
2. Find the problematic device and right click it. Choose Uninstall device from the menu.
3. Uninstall Speaker Audio device from Audio inputs and outputs section and your audio device from Sound, video and game controllers section.
4. Click on Scan for hardware changes icon or restart your PC to reinstall the drivers.
5. Once your drivers are reinstalled, it should be working.

Follow the Microsoft article to troubleshoot on sound problems in Windows 10.

Windows Audio service is already set on automatic. However, I stopped it and started it again; rebooted the computer and still have the same problem. Volume is always on high and the volume control doesn't change the level at all. The volume control works correctly with the HDMI output and the analog output, but not with the USB output Z-Cinema speakers.
