Unable to update Windows 10 to v1809. Freezing at boot after reboot.

I am not being able to update my windows 10 device. After all the update files downloaded, I restarted the system (2 times). But it freezes at a boot screen like the image. It doesn't boot up. Even the keyboard isn't working at this time. And after I force shutdown using button and restart again, it takes too long to restart. And everything is back to normal like previous.

Am I doing something wrong here? Is it only me facing this issue?

How to solve this or update my system? Someone, please help me.

PC specs:

RAM 32 GB

Graphics: NVIDIA 970

CPU: Intel(R) core(TM) i7-5820K @3.30GHz 3.30GHz

64 bit

I've installed a UXtheme patcher and a theme. If its the problem here.

SOLVED installation of WIN10 update 1806 with install of 1903 after disabling all Intel virtualization features in BIOS.

My ASUS P6 motherboard based desktop would complete the v1806 update, but not reboot to a desktop.  It would complete 100% and reboot but fail on the reboot.  Alternatively, I tried to install the August 2019 1903 update.  Neither the USB or DVD with the 1903 iso file would boot.  I tried everything I could think of and followed hunfreds of suggestions to install the updates.  Nothing worked.  The desktop would always fail to launch the desktop after reboot and would revert back to its prior version.  Finally, I went into the BIOS and disabled two setting related to Intel Virtualization.  Once Intel Virtualization was disabled.  I was able to easily install the 1903 update from an ISO I had copied to the desktop. The update installed smoothly and rebooted as it should.  ALL IS WELL in updaate land for now.

This worked for me, I'm now running 1903.

Windows 10 1903 with  2019-09 Cumulative update (KB4517211) fixes this problem for Switch 11v.  The Switch 11v needs Intel SATA AHCI controller driver to version 14.8.16.1063.  The detail information is in "Windows 10 update 1809 breaks my acer switch 11v SW5-173" of Acer community.  My acer switch 11v now works fine.

Thanks so much for the heads up, I made an installer via media creation tool, fired it up and I can confirm that 1903 now does boot up fine. I'd all but given up on seeing win 10 run again on my switch 11v, I ran Ubuntu for awhile, and most recently ran PrimeOS (android).  PrimeOS was fun, although a lot of apps and games would not run on it.  I'm glad to be back on win 10 on my acer, although I still have to do some testing to see if it's stable.
