Unable to update Windows 10 to v1809. Freezing at boot after reboot.

I am not being able to update my windows 10 device. After all the update files downloaded, I restarted the system (2 times). But it freezes at a boot screen like the image. It doesn't boot up. Even the keyboard isn't working at this time. And after I force shutdown using button and restart again, it takes too long to restart. And everything is back to normal like previous.

Am I doing something wrong here? Is it only me facing this issue?

How to solve this or update my system? Someone, please help me.

PC specs:

RAM 32 GB

Graphics: NVIDIA 970

CPU: Intel(R) core(TM) i7-5820K @3.30GHz 3.30GHz

64 bit

I've installed a UXtheme patcher and a theme. If its the problem here.

Today MS did another attempt to upgrade my Win10 x64 LENOVO T530 on 1809.  Same result: restart, freeze...and recovery. Stopped WU.

Same problem with Acer Switch 11v SW5-173, after 1809 update boot hangs

on logo screen with rotating circle

Boot with F2-Bios .. quit .. boots to windows

Fast Boot disabled and it looks like "Restart" will work,

but when the device enters any type of

energy save mode, it does not boot.

Hard Reset and then Bios step needed to reboot again,

hoping Win will not enter Repair mode

The answer from Acer some posts above is

a kick in the ass for every customer and my conclusion

is to never ever buy Acer again.

Will provide a visual. See if this helps for MSI X99. Make sure your BIOS is updated to the latest version for 1809 (MSI has released an interim fix)
