Unable to update Windows 10 to v1809. Freezing at boot after reboot.

I am not being able to update my windows 10 device. After all the update files downloaded, I restarted the system (2 times). But it freezes at a boot screen like the image. It doesn't boot up. Even the keyboard isn't working at this time. And after I force shutdown using button and restart again, it takes too long to restart. And everything is back to normal like previous.

Am I doing something wrong here? Is it only me facing this issue? 

How to solve this or update my system? Someone, please help me.

PC specs:

RAM 32 GB

Graphics: NVIDIA 970

CPU: Intel(R) core(TM) i7-5820K @3.30GHz 3.30GHz

64 bit

    I blocked Windows Update with Winaero Tweaker and hope this is fixed soon.If its a Toshiba problem where out of luck.

    Clean install 1809 on a Toshiba Sattelite radius 14 L109 wont work olso.

    I have stop windows update and stay on the 1803 no problems at all

    Upgrade of Lenovo T530 BIOS. Two days ago upgraded with Windows Upgrade Assistent. Working.

    I tried a clean install a while back and it still was freezing.Guys on another forum swear a clean install will fix it but I have also seen others post of the same issues.Small percent of users are on 1809 so more bugs may creep up as the numbers increase.

    Hello BadToad2016,

    I went ahead and did a fresh install with a Win10 v1809 installation media. It went smoothly. I think it may be the disk driver. The update broke my RAID-1 (mirror) and displayed the message inaccessible boot device.

    I have a similar issue updating Win10 v1809 from v1803 on another PC. The system has a SATA/SSD drive. As soon as I have time, I will put in an HDD and test.

    With Win10 hung after the update, there was no opportunity to debug. Since it hung before accessing the drive, I suspected that it's the driver. Hopefully, this is enough for MS to bug out the issue. There are more people posting on this issue elsewhere on the net.
