Unable to update Windows 10 to v1809. Freezing at boot after reboot.

I am not being able to update my windows 10 device. After all the update files downloaded, I restarted the system (2 times). But it freezes at a boot screen like the image. It doesn't boot up. Even the keyboard isn't working at this time. And after I force shutdown using button and restart again, it takes too long to restart. And everything is back to normal like previous.

Am I doing something wrong here? Is it only me facing this issue?

How to solve this or update my system? Someone, please help me.

PC specs:

RAM 32 GB

Graphics: NVIDIA 970

CPU: Intel(R) core(TM) i7-5820K @3.30GHz 3.30GHz

64 bit

I've installed a UXtheme patcher and a theme. If its the problem here.

Having the same issues with my MSI X99 XPower Gaming Titanium with i7 6800K. Tried v1.5 BIOS - no change.

I reset all my BIOS options to stock and I was able to boot from the 1809 flash drive but upgrading still gives the same error on first reboot.

MSI are not interested as its related to a Microsoft update.

Same problem here with my HP Spectre x360 - 15-ch008tx.

I've tried a number of times.

I have tried via every known way to install... There is something that changed in the MS UEFI boot sequence about a month or so ago. Many people reported this but as usual, they ignored it!!!!!! Brand new laptop out of the box and it wont even clean install the lated from MS!!!!

Same issue here: Updating a new Surface Book 2 to Windows 10 1809 lead to frozen boot screen after Windows asked me to reboot (only the white Windows logo is visible in the center of the screen and I see a rotating disk indicator below that). I waited for a reboot more than 4 hours after being stucked in the boot screen, the re-boot leads to the same issue!

@MICROSOFT: Do you guys think this is funny? I don't have time to waste with fixing the problems of your QA department! I am not amused at all and will indeed start looking for other alternatives!

I have an MSI X99A XPOWER GAMING TITANIUM motherboard and I have the same problem.  If I install the update to 1809, on the first reboot the system just hangs.  I even created a bootable USB with 1809, and when I try to boot up the USB drive, it hangs as well.  I will have to stay on 1803 until this is resolved.
