Unable to update Windows 10 to v1809. Freezing at boot after reboot.

I am not being able to update my windows 10 device. After all the update files downloaded, I restarted the system (2 times). But it freezes at a boot screen like the image. It doesn't boot up. Even the keyboard isn't working at this time. And after I force shutdown using button and restart again, it takes too long to restart. And everything is back to normal like previous.

Am I doing something wrong here? Is it only me facing this issue? 

How to solve this or update my system? Someone, please help me.

PC specs:

RAM 32 GB

Graphics: NVIDIA 970

CPU: Intel(R) core(TM) i7-5820K @3.30GHz 3.30GHz

64 bit

    Hello BadToad2016,

    I went ahead and did a fresh install with a Win10 v1809 installation media. It went smoothly. I think it may be the disk driver. The update broke my RAID-1 (mirror) and displayed the message inaccessible boot device.

    I have a similar issue updating Win10 v1809 from v1803 on another PC. The system has a SATA/SSD drive. As soon as I have time, I will put in an HDD and test.

    With Win10 hung after the update, there was no opportunity to debug. Since it hung before accessing the drive, I suspected that it's the driver. Hopefully, this is enough for MS to bug out the issue. There are more people posting on this issue elsewhere on the net.

    I uninstalled Avast Free and updated to 1809 from 1803 on Windows 10 Home.I knew about the freezing issue and thought they may have fixed it because it came through windows update.Same freezing issue as everyone else.Updated the display driver but problem persisted.I rolled back to 1803 and blocked updates.Froze on restarts and after a few minutes when it would actually get to the desktop.MS needs to figure this out because we are all wasting tons of time on stuff they should have fixed by now.

    Same problem with trying to update from 1803 to 1809 and also with trying to do a fresh install from the 1809 installation media. It hung with the splash logo showing.

    Windows 10 1809 x86

    ahci is best to use standard ahci 1.0 driver, usb driver is best default too, or you can use https://www.win-raid.com/t834f25-USB-Drivers-original-and-modded.html, solution is uninstall and reinstall driver, which can be the same as was before. I experienced problems that first install of drivers may not be correct. I recomend use last intel inf drivers from fernandos page too from https://www.win-raid.com/t895f42-Intel-Chipset-Device-quot-Drivers-quot-INF-files.html.
