Unable to update Windows 10 to v1809. Freezing at boot after reboot.

I am not being able to update my windows 10 device. After all the update files downloaded, I restarted the system (2 times). But it freezes at a boot screen like the image. It doesn't boot up. Even the keyboard isn't working at this time. And after I force shutdown using button and restart again, it takes too long to restart. And everything is back to normal like previous.

Am I doing something wrong here? Is it only me facing this issue?

How to solve this or update my system? Someone, please help me.

PC specs:

RAM 32 GB

Graphics: NVIDIA 970

CPU: Intel(R) core(TM) i7-5820K @3.30GHz 3.30GHz

64 bit

I've installed a UXtheme patcher and a theme. If its the problem here.

Lenovo t530 Windows 10 x64 upgrade to 1809 stops on 42% without any disc operation for several hours. Does anybody know What to do, please?

Exactly the same issue here on my Lenovo ideapad 720-15IKB 81C7, error 0xc19001e1.

I search for BIOS update here but nothing...

    https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/fr/fr/products/laptops-and-netbooks/700-series/720-15ikb-type-81c7/downloads?linkTrack=Caps:Body_SearchProduct&searchType=3&keyWordSearch=720-15IKB%20(Type%2081C7)%20Laptop%20(ideapad)

Note that I have a dual boot setup and CPU virtualization activated.

I had two more notebooks are IBM ThinkPad X60 and Lenovo Z40-70.  The IBM ThinkPad X60 had a problem to upgrade that had a blue screen at the middle of upgrade at first try.  I disabled to use the latest modules download that was recommended.  The IBM ThinkPad X60 was able to upgrade to 1809.  Then, the IBM ThinkPad X60 suddenly Hibernation mode within 3 min even though my power setting does not use hibernation mode when it is plugged in a power.  I used Advanced of Power setting to set non hibernation mode with non battery mode and reboot a machine.  Then, X60 works fine as same as before.   Lenovo Z40-70 was able to upgrade to 1809 and works fine.

I'm in the same boat I've been able to upgrade three of my four computers.  A older Asus i7 desktop, a year old Dell Inspiron both Pro 64 bit, an old Asus netbook with an Atom processor with 32 Bit Home but no luck with an old Dell Latitude D820 with 32 bit Pro.  With the Latitude I'm experiencing the same problem everyone else here is reporting.  It has had run every version up to 1803 with no issues.  I did have to use a trick I found online using a Geforce graphics diver since the Quatro chipset didn't have a driver but that trick has worked fine.  I don't use the Latitude that much any more but like keeping it as a standby computer incase I ever have a problem with the Inspiron.

Yeah, I guess that every Acer Aspire Switch 11v user will eventually have the exact same problem, when upgrading to 1809.

I can only urge you and all the others, to contact the Microsoft Support (Feedback Hub, hotlines, etc.) AND the Acer support, so that they have to acknowledge the problem and fix it.

I mean, for now, we could all just stay with 1803 and keep using our Laptops, but since we have the Home version of Windows 10, the Windows Update application will eventually try to ugrade to 1809 again. And  then again...  and again....

Even if we all upgrade to Windows 10 Pro, to be allowed to stay with 1803, Microsoft will drop the support for this version and render our computers unprotected....

So as I say, the only solution is, to make Acer and Microsoft acknowledge, that there is a problem, so that they can fix the incompatible drivers or whatever.

I for one have already contacted the Acer support and after taking their sweet time, they just replied like: "Yeah, we do not guarantee compability with this particular version of Windows", which translates to "Not our problem, buy a new Laptop if you want compability".

    Nice!

Meanwhile the Microsoft support is like: "Please go ahead and issue a feedback in our dedicated Feedback Hub".

The only problem here is, that feedback in the Feedback Hub will just disappear and will be completly ignored, unless it gets +100 upvotes.

I really hope, that we can generate some attention to this problem. I bought my Acer Aspire Switch 11v not even 3 years ago and now Microsoft and Acer will render it obsolete with their idiotic update and support policies.

    Greetings

    Robin

While all this was going on I bought myself an Intel NUC i3 which is now running 1809, and is synced with my switch 11v since both are under the same Microsoft account.  I'm finally experiencing 1809, which is kind of nice.  The switch 11v is still on 1803, still not updating, thankfully.  I'm hoping it (switch 11v) will skip 1809 entirely, since I've read here that some have had better luck with the next update than they had with 1809.  I hope the same will be the case for the switch.
