Hardware Access Error - Messenger - Webcam and Mic

Hello,

For the past week, I've been getting this pop up when I want to make a Messenger video call.  Been using this for over a year without a glitch.  Both camera and mic work fine with Skype and Zoom but not with Messenger.  Checked all settings in FB and Google Chrome to make sure mic and webcam are 'allowed'.  Tried a couple of troubleshooting YouTube vids.  Even did a whole recovery process, going through the pain of reinstalling apps...ugh..., with no results.  The only thing I remember that may - or may not- be related is that I connected my laptop (where I use Messenger) to my Samsung bluetooth speaker.  After that, Messenger video calls went kapout!!!  Please HEEEEEEEELP!!!!

    IR camera is not recognized by Google Chrome.When both cameras are on it will conflict by showing the error.You have to disable IR Camera when out of Google browser then disable that camera then  go to Facebook then video your friend or family.I know is a tricky way to work around it.Hp suggested me to do that so i  recommend you follow my steps.It sucks that Google doesn't  read both hardware.I'm thinking in my opinion that IR is a security  software so i'm guessing it protects your camera.Same goes when you  want to protect anyone from guessing your password,passcodes or fingerprint,face.Technology is protecting us from theft.

    Remember to disable the IR camera.Chrome doesn't recognize the other camera so it conflicts with IR camera on.That is why you get the errors you are receiving.Hp showed me a work around for this problem.Their is no permanent fix for this.
