Hardware Access Error - Messenger - Webcam and Mic

Hello,

For the past week, I've been getting this pop up when I want to make a Messenger video call.  Been using this for over a year without a glitch.  Both camera and mic work fine with Skype and Zoom but not with Messenger.  Checked all settings in FB and Google Chrome to make sure mic and webcam are 'allowed'.  Tried a couple of troubleshooting YouTube vids.  Even did a whole recovery process, going through the pain of reinstalling apps...ugh..., with no results.  The only thing I remember that may - or may not- be related is that I connected my laptop (where I use Messenger) to my Samsung bluetooth speaker.  After that, Messenger video calls went kapout!!!  Please HEEEEEEEELP!!!!

    Questo errore me lo da solo avviando Facebook da Google Chrome (non dall'applicazione), dal mio pc portatile hp envy con webcam interna.

    Ciao mia mamma dal suo pc portatile ha lo stesso identico problema..lei ha un portatile hp comprato a settembre 2018 e purtroppo non riuscirà ad effettuare o ricevere video Facebook Entrando da Google Chrome. Sullo stesso pc funziona il video Skype o quella di Facebook da un altro server (internet explorer o Firefox).

    Chrome, cancellare cookie e svuotare la cache ma niente..abbiamo paragonato pure le impostazioni di questo pc a quelle di un altro pc avente sempre Windows10, 64 bit ecc ecc ... ma niente sembra essere tutto uguale a livello di impostazioni ... non sappiamo più che fare ....

    1. I'm using Messenger on Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.
    2. The error message I get is "Hardware Access Error". 
    3. The webcam is Internal. 
    4. I'm using HP Pavilion 15-cs0010ca. 

    So how do I solve the problem?
