Windows 10 1809 17763.55 cumulative update BSOD WDF_VIOLATION on HP desktops.

After installing KB4464330 (build 17763.55) my HP EliteDesk 800 G3 the machine refuses to boot, ending with BSOD WPF_VIOLATION.

I was able to get the PC working again using an earlier restore point.

I contacted MS support and was told that:

Actually HP computers are not the only product affected for this issue other computers as well like DELL etc. That's why for now, we’ve temporarily paused the update for people who seek to check for updates, to investigate an isolated reported issue and will make it available for download again once ready.

That's correct and other issue has been reported as well but our higher level of support already working on it

My advice to all the people that have the HP or any other imbedded software problems is, first, backup all your files with Macrium Reflect v7, you can use this program to do a full OP backups and clone of your OP system, so that you can even retrieve your system if it goes into a 'blue screen of death' and reinstall your OP from a boot. After that, do a clean install of W10 on your HP, this is your only solution! Imbedded software like HP's is prone to these sorts of failures as HP do not keep their software 'up to date' and it conflicts with MS W10 latest updates 'always' they are not responsible enough (as are some of the other manufacturers) to update their software to the latest MS W10 updates e.g. like v1809. This is very unfortunate but, doing a clean install of W10 on your HP will solve all these problems for the future! I've learned this a long time ago and never ever have I allowed any of my laptops to have imbedded software on them, this has stopped all the conflicting problems and this new MS v1809 OS Build 17763.55 works perfectly on all my laptops with all its new features and no driver or booting, blue screens etc or any problems, this new version update adds allot of new features and they all work and are excellent. Btw, I have 3 laptops ranging in age from 8 years to the current crop and they all work perfectly with W10 Pro, MS v1809 OS Build 17763.55. Hope this helps.

which sys file  u removed??

Finally managed it. I have to remove the sys file from system32\drivers :))
