Hold on -- you bought a new PC because of a software issue???

And PCWorld, which is a magazine, "found the memory deleted" from your hard drive? There is no memory on a hard drive.

Could you please send me the PC you're replacing? I'll gladly pay for shipping.

Hi, I received the update on October 3rd. I checked Windows Updates when I first signed into my laptop. It was around 7:30 a.m. It took about 30 minutes for the update to prepare for downloading. It took around 40 minutes to download, and another 30 minutes to install. I received that update and a definition update for Windows Defender.

It took around another 40 minutes for the updates and installation after I restarted. I had no problem whatsoever after I was back on my desktop. I like the new look of my documents, picture, and video folders. I also had no missing folders or files. I like the new sleek look, and chose black when I click on documents, videos or pictures.

I noticed that there is now Snip and Sketch instead of my snipping tool. The only change I noticed is that Cortana will suddenly appear or open up asking me if I want to add eggs to my shopping list, etc. I usually click on the microphone in the Search Bar when I wish to talk her, but she's obviously decided to pop-up and ask me questions whenever she feels like it. LOL! I just simply close Cortana and everything is okay.

This is actually the only problem I've come across. Everything else is working fine. I have a Dell 15 R (Core i5) laptop (Inspiron 7520) with AMD Radeon HD 7730 M.  I didn't manually download the Fall update. It automatically began downloading after I checked for Updates in Windows Update. I didn't even realize it was time for the Fall Update.

So, since I'm not having any problems other than Cortana popping up every now and then, I believe it's okay to stick with this new fall version.
