Windows 10 October update rollout has again started from 13/11/2018.

    The April 2018 update is 1803, not 1809.

    Wups! My mistake! Thanks for clearing that up, Jim!

    Just glad I have 1809. It is a far superior build to 1803.

    and I still think that other guy was on to something with the connection between OneDrive, Storage Sense, and the automatic file deletion it does. Nobody who had Storage Sense turned off or OneDrive uninstalled (I have always been in the latter category because I hate OneDrive's intrusiveness. When I want to use it I know where to find it on-line and how to log in and move certain files and folders there (copies of them, that is, in zip format, you know).

    ANYWAY none who fall into either of these two categories I just mentioned have reported LOSING any files. 

    Mere coincidence?
