2018-10-07T20:31:44+00:00 I did have back ups. The issue is that NOTHING will reboot the system at all. No boot drive will allow access, Microsoft has put me on hold so much it isn't even funny and when I do talk with someone, they get as far as the boot ( flash drive, boot reorganization, bios resetting ect) and they can not even get the computer to respond except with the same blue screen saying it cant do that.

2018-10-07T19:25:43+00:00 once again I ask Does anyone have the lawsuit contact information?
Two computers down from Microsft and really tired of their, please be on hold, oh look lets hang up and have you call back, and please let us call you back in 4 days attitudes. The put off deploy does nothing but make people angry.
I have been put off by Microsoft for 4 days now and hung up on 6 times, and am on day four with no computer and issue can not be resolved by any suggestions on the internet or suggestions that Windows offered.
This computer is almost new that crashed, and this is the second computer that Windows updates had crashed.
They send the calls to other countries, I have yet to have someone who spoke English. It is not only hard to understand these people they have connected me to, but they are of no knowledge as to helping.
Seriously, Microsoft should have a severe lawsuit that will kick them in their tails and really make them stand up an straighten out al the issues they have caused people.
You can still download the ISO file of 1803 from Microsoft download page. As far as contacting them, try their main local number in Redmond, not the 800 #

2018-10-07T16:53:10+00:00 Hi - anyone on here know how long the pause on 1809 rollout will last? I upgraded 1 of 3 laptops on Thurs 04/10 - didn't think 1809 would be released until Tues 09/10 but it was there. I was just checking if everything was up to date PRIOR to 1809 release. Fortunately the upgrade went OK (I had my mandatory 2 backups anyway File Hist and n360 plus an older Windows Backup). Some initial performance problems but after a few reboots things stabilised (post upgrade tidy-up?), On Friday I cleared Windows.old using DiskCleanup so rollback is not an option. Now how another FileHist USB just in case. The reason I delete Windows.old is my second laptop has a smallish SSD so I wanted to prep for that. But when I went to upgrade it on Friday, there was no upgrade. Then saw the rollout pause on Sat. Second laptop is a travel notebook that only holds copies of files. Both are x64. Third one is x86 and holds lots of historic data so I'm not even powering that on until this blows over (although I do have backups).
So, main question is "Is there a timescale on the pause?"
Sorry didn't click Notify box so replying to myself
