"...we investigate isolated reports of users missing some files after updating". Isolated? Some? Its a joke. I wouldn't moan if I would missing a few photos or Christmas carols but ... after updating I'm missing - SQL Server 2016 and all databases, SQL 2017 Server and all databases, backup databases. How you test your updates (please tell us) because its not possible to make so many mistakes every quarter. Who will be fined\sucked\named and shamed? Guys you should pay Apple to test your bunch of **** before you roll this out. If you can't provide us with quality updates you should let us choose if we want to update at all. If you are looking for alpha\beta testers pay for this do not treat us like ones. Most if not all new Xbox games are with bugs, most if not all Microsoft software are with bugs. I hope that someone in EU HQ lost some very important files and will fine you few billions. Have a nice day and stop employing cheap labour, invest in knowledge!

So i've already installed a completely fresh install of the new 1809 Version since i got myself a SSD.

Am i fine then or should i update again whenever you release the new stuff ?

I don't encounter any issues since its a fresh install and didn't loose any data i backed up.

once again I ask Does anyone have the lawsuit contact information?

Two computers down from Microsft and really tired of their, please be on hold, oh look lets hang up and have you call back, and please let us call you back in 4 days attitudes.   The put off deploy does nothing but make people angry.

I have been put off by Microsoft for 4 days now and hung up on 6 times, and am on day four with no computer and issue can not be resolved by any suggestions on the internet or suggestions that Windows offered.

This computer is almost new that crashed, and this is the second computer that Windows updates had crashed.

They send the calls to other countries, I have yet to have someone who spoke English.  It is not only hard to understand these people they have connected me to, but they are of no knowledge as to helping.

Seriously, Microsoft should have a severe lawsuit that will kick them in their tails and really make them stand up an straighten out al the issues they have caused people.
