Files not synced - OneDrive

I am having an issue with my OneDrive synch client (they newest version) that says all files are synched, yet in the documents folder the icons do not match (and appear that the documents are not synched).  I spent 30 plus hour on the phone with Office 365 (who made matters worse at first) but then we've been able to determine with a second windows profile created (i.e. what you login windows with) that this does not occur.  They told me to contact the windows team to have them investigate my profile on the back end (i.e. their servers) as my account might have issues.  I then contacted the windows team (and asked for a supervisor) and this person (even after looking at the exact email from the Office 365 team stating my windows ID likely was corrupted) refused to help except to just delete the ID entirely.  Given this windows login ID is tied to a bunch of documents, etc. on this computer, it seems like there has to be another option.  Or how do I copy everything over to the new ID?

***Modified the title Issue with Windows Login ID - according to Office 365 Windows team needs to fix (they say nothing they can do)***

    I found this:

***Important:***When you stop protecting a folder, the files that were already protected by OneDrive stay in OneDrive. If you no longer want those files in OneDrive, you'll need to move them to a local folder on your PC yourself. Any new files you add to that folder on your PC won't be protected by OneDrive.

Craig - yes the OneDrive for business does synch differently than yours - it synchs the way that PCR's does as well.

    Craig,

Thanks!  You can synch two different accounts (there is an option to login with your business or personal), but that is not actually what I am referring to.  I am just "synching" one account - signed in with one account.  However, to sign on to Windows at all (i.e. when you first login to your computer) you need to use a windows login - that login unfortunately can't be a Office365 business account, but should not normally cause problems with your OneDrive synch.  The icons are perfectly fine with "road tested" with a second windows login and appear correctly synched with all icons matching.  That is why after 30 hours with Office 365 then could deterimine that my windows login profile must be "corrupted" or have issues.   For some reason my screen shots appear not to have posted below, but you can see that the issue is with the icon status showing not synched on some files when they are actually synched (and appear this way if signed in with another windows profile on the same computer).  Ultimately, what I need help with is getting someone from the Windows team to actually re-synch my profile on the back-end or filing some sort of ticket to investigate my windows login.  I can't find a competent person on the Windows team yet  - after 3 calls.  Yet, Office 365 clearly has put this in their notes as the problem after all the invetigative work they did.  Windows just wants to punt it back to Office 365 as the individual in this thread once again did.
