Windows Brightness issue after the 1809 update

hello , Yesterday I installed the 1809 update , and today i noticed that each time i restart my laptop the brightness level is being reset automatically to 0% or 25-50 i'm not really sure , and after windows will boot up , i will need to manually adjust the screen brightness again to 100% . I searched the web and i found this https://www.windowscentral.com/windows-10-october-2018-update-common-problems-and-fixes#fix\_brightness\_windows10\_1809 , and it might be an update issue i think  , by the way , my power plan is set to maximum performance and my laptop is always plugged in , and solutions or ?

    I have a Surface Go, since the last updates (1809) I have the same issue and only restarting solves the issue.

    This update broke something on 3 laptops (blue screens, brightness, random reboots, unreliable Windows Hello, reset of options to share info that I already disabled previously).

    Shame on Microsoft. Bad programming, support, unreliable OS even with their own Surface...

    Not the exact same problem, but worth to post this I guess....

    Problem on my Dell Latitude 5580 with an Intel HD 620 and clean USB-stick installation of Windows 10, 1809 was that the brightness levels were not adjustable.

    Tested a lot of recent Intel drivers, but manual installation of 22.20.16.4836 from 10/17/2017 solved my problems.

    Drivers tested; 25.20.100.6448, 25.20.100.6471, 25.20.100.6444

    After several weeks changing settings, here is what is found so far: adjust ofbrightness level works perfectly when my Dell XPS 13 9360 is on battery saver mode. Suspending it does not freeze the level adjust, works nicely. However, any other power setting leads to frozen brightness after the first suspension.

    MS could issue something about it, there are too many complaints!

    I have the same problem, whenever I restart my PC, even if my brightness is 100% it slowly turns like 50%. When my pc start up, i can see my screen from 100% slowly turns 50% is like automatically adjusting, but the brightness settings is at 100%. I have my nvidia settings set on "Use NVIDIA settings", when ever I choose that, the brightness turns back to normal without even applying the settings in NVIDIA.

    I hope windows has a fix for this. Already updated and reinstalled everything, but to no avail.
