Windows Brightness issue after the 1809 update

hello , Yesterday I installed the 1809 update , and today i noticed that each time i restart my laptop the brightness level is being reset automatically to 0% or 25-50 i'm not really sure , and after windows will boot up , i will need to manually adjust the screen brightness again to 100% . I searched the web and i found this https://www.windowscentral.com/windows-10-october-2018-update-common-problems-and-fixes#fix\_brightness\_windows10\_1809 , and it might be an update issue i think  , by the way , my power plan is set to maximum performance and my laptop is always plugged in , and solutions or ?

    Just disable 'DisplayEnhancementService'  in services.msc and brightness will stay at 100%.

    This will not let you set it at any other setting (50%,75% etc,) but who does that anyway.

    This so called problem will be fixed April 2019 release as there is no more settings for brightness in the pre-release version now, unless they put it back.

    I updated to the latest Intel driver (version 25.20.100.6373 for the UHD 620 graphics) and my brightness still drops to 50% after a reboot.

    It is good to hear that this issue has been addressed. But the question is, will MS provide us fix on top of 1809 which is not some preview evaluation nor windows insider version? We need a fix also for the regular versions.

    I created this task in PowerShell that adjusts the brightness at startup to Microsoft Windows 10 V1809.

    C:\Windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\powershell.exe "(Get-WmiObject -Namespace root/WMI -Class WmiMonitorBrightnessMethods).WmiSetBrightness(1,100)"

    1. Run "C:\Windows\System32\taskschd.msc"
    2. Right click on Task Scheduler and select create task
    3. I used "ScreenBrightness" for the task name
    4. Select "Run whether user is logged on or not"
    5. Select "Run with highest privileges"
    6. Click on "Triggers" tab
    7. Click on "New"
    8. Choose "Begin the task: "At Startup"
    9. Click on "Okay"
    10. Click on the "Actions" tab
    11. Click on New
    12. Past the command into the Program/Script Line
    13. Click on Okay
    14. Click on Yes
    15. Enter your Windows user password
    16. Click on okay.

    When you restart your computer the screen brightness will change to 100% (1,100)

    Ok, Windows 10 Home x64 here.

    2 questions:

    a.)  Do you create the task in PS x86 or x64 for 64-bit OS?

    b.) If I want the brightness set to 75% what would be the appropriate number at the end of the command instead of 1,100??
