| Earlier this week, Intel unintentionally released version 9.21.00.3755 of the Intel Smart Sound Technology (ISST) Driver through Windows Update, and inadvertently offered it to a range of devices running Window 10 version 1803 or 1809. If your device contained<br> a compatible audio driver, the new driver overrode it and caused audio to stop working.<br><br><br><br><br><br>We are working with Intel to resolve this issue, and as soon as we learned of the issue on October 11, we made sure the driver was no longer being offered through Windows Update. If it was already installed on your device, you will need to uninstall the<br> driver using the following instructions.<br><br> <br><br> <br><br><ol><br><li><span style="color:#333333">From the Start menu, type <strong>Device Manager </strong><br>in the search box. 2018-10-13T16:11:41+00:00 This happened to you to? I thought I was the only one! I updated it on the 11th and then when I opened it it was gone no audio even in the Device manager there is no Realtek audio. Only intel, which is kinda annoying due to the fact we need the Realtek to even fix the issue.
I tried videos none have worked sadly.
My computer is a HP aswell

Also - I clicked both search my computer and online for sound device and nothing.

2018-10-13T21:19:41+00:00 This worked for me on my HP Envy PC. At the very start I didn't find a Realtek driver under "Sound...….controllers" but I found an Intel driver with a yellow triangle under "other devices". From then on it was just like the instructions.
