Uninstall Your Phone Companion App

Hi everyone, there is no way to uninstall 'Your Phone' app on your Windows 10. You can confirm it by typing 'Your Phone' in the search box next to the start button. Once the app appear, put your cursor on the app and right-click and select 'App settings'. You will see options like 'Terminate', 'Repair', 'Reset' and 'Uninstall'. You will realize that 'Uninstall' is grayed out and you are unable to click it. By clicking either 'Terminate', 'Repair' or 'Reset' does not remove the app.

If you are annoyed because you have linked your phone to the 'My Phone' app and would like to get rid of it, the only way is to login into your Windows Account and un-linked your phone from your account. After that, you will realize 'Your Phone' has been reset.

Getting Your Phone Companion off the phone is no problem.  Hold down on the app and you get the option to uninstall.  It vanishes in seconds.  You can't readily uninstall it from the PC.  This PowerShell command does it, though.

I am using a Note10. I loved the ability to jump on to my pc and continue what I was doing on my phone. I haven't been able to get this to work since I bought a new pc. I can send a tab or anything else from my pc to my phone, I can text from my pc, see all my photos from my phone on my pc, etc. I was definitely linked. I couldn't for the life of me get the continue on pc to work. If I look at my quick menu on my phone, my pc is listed (link to windows). All I get is the "get linked" page and the spinning circle trying to find my (obviously already linked pc). Samsung flow works so they were obviously connected.

Anyway, at this point, I've just uninstalled the yourphone app from the pc (again). I can't seem to uninstall from the Note10 though. Holding down on either the yourphone companion app only offers a link to "app information" where the is also no option to remove. I'm trying to completely remove so I can attempt to reinstall fresh and hopefully get this working. I miss the convenience.
