After Windows 10 version 1809 update Build 17763.1, my Backup and Recovery now shows error 0x80070013 and will not backup as before

Did October 2 update to win 10 ver 1809 and now my backup and restore will not backup, keep getting Error 0x80070013.

    Hi Sumit,

    0x80070013 at end of back up after Oct 2018 update...

    I am so angry that I have just signed up here, but I'm a bit behind you guys.

    Hello,

    It is strongly recommended that you use File History to either back up or restore your files, but you can still create a system image, if you wish, by using this command while running Command Prompt or Windows PowerShell as an administrator:

    WBADMIN START BACKUP -backuptarget:e: -include:c: -allcritical -quiet

    For example,e E: may be your external hard drive. To run File History, press WINDOWS LOGO + R, type control /name Microsoft.filehistory and press ENTER.

    Hello,

    Starting with Windows 10 Fall Creators Update and later, you do know that Microsoft has completely deprecated Back-Up and Restore Centre (Windows 7) and the System Image Creation utility.

    Using File History to back up or restore your files is recommended, but, if you wish, you can still create a system image by doing the following:

    1. Right-click the Start button, and then click Command Prompt (Admin) / Windows PowerShell (Admin).
    2. Type the following command and press ENTER:

    wbadmin start backup -backuptarget:e: -include:c: -allcritical -quiet

    For example, E: may assume that it is your external hard drive.

    Backup failed

    My weekly backup to an external drive (USB 3.0) failed with "drive is write protected", while another computer failed to back up to a network drive with the same error.  This is new with the 1809 update … both machines were able to back up without problems using the 1803 version.
