You can't really stop MS from updating your computer anymore, they are like apple they OWN you. The upgrades are probably the culprit f you learn how to stop programs like wusa.exe and tiworker you may be able to slow the problem down, whatever you do DO NOT ASK MS FOR HELP. I am crippled now since November 2019 due to the "HELP" they gave me, I cannot even drop back to the original win 10 updates to get free of there ILK and just consider myself lucky to have CHROME and UNIX OS to survive them!
Epson scanner will not work with latest windows 10 update
My epson perfection v700 scanner (that allows me to scan photos, negatives, documents, etc.) and that I paid over $800 for) stopped working with teh latest update two days ago. I've downloaded a new driver and other software from Epson and it doesn't work. Can I uninstall this update? I like my scanner a whole lot more than I like Windows.

2020-04-08T16:07:29+00:00 I have an Epson ds-560 Duplex Auto Feed Scanner (Document Scanner). I have Windows 10 1909. I was using the scanner and Epson Scan with 0 problems on my desktop for over a year....and a couple of months ago, it just stopped working. Meaning, I'd open "Epson Scan," and it would freeze. I'd have to do Ctrl, Alt, Del to unfreeze it, but have been unable to do anything but that for months. I also tried run as administrator, changing "compatibility settings" I finally got out my laptop running the same Windows 10 1909 last week and lo and behold, everything installed fine and I was back up and able to scan. NOW, the laptop won't work EITHER.
On both computers, I have uninstalled and reinstalled Epson Scan/Document Pro from the Epson site repeatedly. This never fixes the problem. Not even for one scan. I tried to read through the multiple pages of this thread, but everyone seems to have different printers, experiences, etc. Has anyone found a solution for this Windows 10 issue?
I have always run this Document Scanner with Windows 10. The computers came with Windows 10. I never "upgraded" from 7 or 8 to 10. I know Windows itself does it's own updates and that maybe the problem, but still lost at how to "fix" that.

2020-03-05T00:29:01+00:00 What is wrong with the current Microsoft programmers? Is there no verification process? No old school "Check Before Deploy" mentality??? WOW. I hate to use the "M" word but(and again...)WOW. "OK...MILLENIAL..."
As a consumer. I shouldn't have to work this hard to KEEP MY PC WORKING!!! This is what makes me consider the DARK side(APPLE)..........[And I'm a Life long MS/Android supporter]
