Google Chrome Notifications in Windows Action Center Won't Load Pages When Clicked

With the most recent update to Google Chrome, push notifications are now in the Action Center.  This would be fine, if clicking said push notifications actually opened the page referred to IN the notification (example would be YouTube video notifications for subscribed channels).  Instead, it just makes the notification disappear.  How can this be fixed?  At it is, seeing a notification for something and then having to go manually search for the item is beyond useless, and defeats the entire purpose of a push notification.  Thanks for any assistance provided in advance!

    Same issue here.  Very glad to see it's not just us having the issue.  We are trying to setup web push notifications for our website and clicking on the notification as it first appears in Windows 10 seems to work but once the notification is transferred into notification center clicking on it just makes it disappear.

    Strange that all my Gmail notifications seem to work 100% when clicked on.  Wish I knew what settings they use!  Somehow they got it to work.

    I too have this problem for quite a while.  Every now and then a notification will open a chrome tab, but it is a rare event.

    Has Microsoft abandoned this issue?  It has been 6 months since they last replied to us.

    This problem just started with me after a clean install of Win 10

    Previously I was running an install of Win 10 UPGRADED from Win 7. There must have been some item or setting preserved during the upgrade process that allowed push notifications to open the associated web pages in Google Chrome.

    However, I recently upgraded to an M.2 SSD and did a clean install in the process. I now have the same problem as everyone else here; clicking the notification just closes the notification without opening the associated web page.

    So before all your updates, you got the notification when you click on it will opening the associated web page i Chrome? I got a  clean install of Win 10 and I have the same problem as everyone else; clicking the notification just closes the notification without opening the associated web page. Thank your in advance.     That is correct, Prior to my clean re-install it worked as I expected it to.
