Google Chrome Notifications in Windows Action Center Won't Load Pages When Clicked

With the most recent update to Google Chrome, push notifications are now in the Action Center.  This would be fine, if clicking said push notifications actually opened the page referred to IN the notification (example would be YouTube video notifications for subscribed channels).  Instead, it just makes the notification disappear.  How can this be fixed?  At it is, seeing a notification for something and then having to go manually search for the item is beyond useless, and defeats the entire purpose of a push notification.  Thanks for any assistance provided in advance!

    My Google Chrome has stopped working, But I did not do any update to it. I do not understand why it is not loading it's pages or popping up on the screen like it's suppost to. I would like the company of google chrome to fix this issue. Thank you.

    This issue could be due to corrupted or missing files, try reinstalling Google Chrome.

    Anybody else still having the same problem? Original post was published more than a year ago and the bug hasn't been resolved. I'm only able to open the last notification on my panel. My notifications are enabled for several news websites and work-related social media posts that I follow, and having to search for everything manually just defeats the purpose of the notification panel.

    For me problem was solved after I upgraded to Chrome 76

    Still an issue... my Chrome v. 77, but issue is with ANY of my notifications, not just Chrome, even emails do not come up. I cannot get the last notification from my panel. Lord knows what the workplace IT have done to make this Win 10 machine ineffective though, so I cannot blame either the Chrome devs or the Windows devs necessarily, though whatever IT does should not have side effects of disabling this.
