Google Chrome Notifications in Windows Action Center Won't Load Pages When Clicked

With the most recent update to Google Chrome, push notifications are now in the Action Center.  This would be fine, if clicking said push notifications actually opened the page referred to IN the notification (example would be YouTube video notifications for subscribed channels).  Instead, it just makes the notification disappear.  How can this be fixed?  At it is, seeing a notification for something and then having to go manually search for the item is beyond useless, and defeats the entire purpose of a push notification.  Thanks for any assistance provided in advance!

    How does turning off notifications help with this issue?  The problem is that we get notifications and we cannot click on them to launch them.  We want the notifications and we want to open them up.  It's a bug in the windows notifications or chrome's implementation of windows notifications.  

    I have noticed that I can click on them when they first come into the main window but if I let them go into the queue in the bottom right corner (where it displays new notifications count) and the click on the links they do nothing but disappears.  I'm not sure if this is just confined to Chrome notifications only.

    The simple answer for this is to turn off the Chrome setting for the windows activity center.

    To do this just enter the following into Chrome:

    chrome://flags/#enable-native-notifications

    Then set the 'Enable Native Connections' setting to 'Disabled'

    We also have the same problem. We are a webpush provider company and webpushes on the notification center just dissapear and doesn't open any url. We tried many other provider's demo page to test if it's related with our system (onesignal,pushpad,pushcrew) and none of their notification works in notification center. 

    I can click webpushes if it's on the desktop. But It's not clickable if webpush is in notification center.

    I use latest Windows 10 and latest chrome.

    This happens here too, but it isn't limited to YouTube. Facebook notifications also don't open new Facebook tabs, they just disappear.

    I have the same issue, and its driving me mad.

    Notifications will open a Chrome tab only if Chrome is already open.

    If Chrome is not already open then the Notifications just disappear after being clicked.

    Also now the time to disappear is being ignored and the Notification now stay on the screen indefinitely.

    I can confirm the latest build is installed and windows updates confirms no updates available.

    Chrome is also updated, also I have tried reinstalling Chrome and the same issue persists.

    My hardware

    Intel 17 7700

    GTX 1070 ti 8gb

    16gb ddr4 ram

    512gb ssd
