Google Chrome Notifications in Windows Action Center Won't Load Pages When Clicked

With the most recent update to Google Chrome, push notifications are now in the Action Center.  This would be fine, if clicking said push notifications actually opened the page referred to IN the notification (example would be YouTube video notifications for subscribed channels).  Instead, it just makes the notification disappear.  How can this be fixed?  At it is, seeing a notification for something and then having to go manually search for the item is beyond useless, and defeats the entire purpose of a push notification.  Thanks for any assistance provided in advance!

    I have the same problem, and it doesn't matter where the notifications are from.  I receive none from YouTube.  For awhile, USA was working and would open, but now they've stopped, as well.  I have the latest version of Windows 10 and Google Chrome installed.  Other apps will open when I click on them, ie. Facebook, Twitter, & News, etc.  Although Twitter seems to have a few bugs and has stopped playing a Sound notification, as well, even though it is enabled.  And I only get ONE notification from ONE Twitter sender, which is very odd.

    It is only the Google Chrome notifications that will not open and unfortunately, these are the majority of my notifications.  As the original poster said, IF I can happen to catch the notification when it first appears, before it goes to the notification center, I can sometimes get it to open, but not always.  Once it's logged into the notification area though, it will only disappear once I click on it.  Which, of course, defeats the purpose of having the notification in the first place.

    I believe 100% that this is a bug/glitch and hope it can be identified and fixed.

    I have similar problem. Only for me it seems like it is only Youtube notifications that will not get passed on to Chrome when clicked in the Windows Notifications list. Other Chrome notifications (e.g. facebook) seem to show in Chrome when clicked.

    So, would much appreciate an update from the mentioned developers on this, thanks! - or any other with a solution:-)

    Thanks for the additional information, DreadLight.

    Kindly bear with me, I've submitted a report to our developers to check if this is a possible bug and asked a colleague of mine to recreate this issue just to check if he'd get the same thing. We'll be checking for other triggers, and configure some settings both in Chrome and YouTube just to make sure.

    I'll post back as soon I get an update from them.

    I appreciate your response.  If this helps, when the notifications first appears (as an actual pop up rather than being placed in the notification center), if I click on it before it is relegated back to the Center only, there is a chance it will open the new tab/window.  However, if the notification has already been logged in the center, it will not under any circumstances load a new tab/window when clicked.  I hope this is of help to you.

    Hmm. So this only affects YouTube push notifications? 

    I have the same version for Chrome and same OS build for Windows 10, but all seems to be working fine.

    I'll try to further check on my end. But I just need to confirm one more thing.

    Let's say both of the notification came from the same YouTube channel you're subscribed to, then when you tap on the first notification, it launched a tab or new window in Chrome. When you tap on the second notif (still coming from the same channel), does the second notification just disappear without opening a new tab?

    I'll try to experiment around and see if this also affects other notification from other apps or programs.

    I'll keep an eye out for your update.
