I've been trying to set up my Gmail on my new Dell laptop, but keep getting error message 0x8000000b. Could someone please assist me?

2019-12-25T17:19:52+00:00 This is all well and good... spent 5 hours trying to make all these methods work, in the end... just had to TURN OFF... TWO STEP VERIFICATION.... hope this helps.

The point is you get an error choosing gmail as the type of account. You should be able to choose gmail and have it sync your gmail and your google calendar with this choice.
IMAP doesn’t do this and doesn’t behave in the same way.
Going to gmail from your web browser is also a valid workaround 🙈
