For some reason, my onedrive.exe program gets deleted after a day from the %appdata%\local\microsoft\onedrive folder.
I have uninstalled OneDrive and then reinstalled it. The program works for a day, but then the following day I notice that the OneDrive icon is not in my taskbar (i.e. OneDrive stopped running) and then when I go to launch the program, it says it can't fine OneDrive. I navigate to the folder (noted above) and the OneDrive.exe file is no longer there.
This is really strange.

I'm personally having issues with a later version, 18.101.0520.0002, so a downgrade wouldn't help as OneDrive just tries to update again. Personally, I just copy the OneDrive.exe file from the folder out a directory into the main folder and it works for a couple days, then is deleted again, however it hasn't gotten deleted in the past 3 days or so, so I'm not sure if it solved it permanently.
I am having the same issue with windows 7. I've unintalled using rovio uninstaller "advanced" scan and then reinstalled at least 3 times. my ...local/Microsoft/Onedrive directory shows 3 directories beginning with 18.065.0329.002. What I did was make a backup copy of the whole directory, including the onedrive.exe file.
Today when I had the same issue, I went to that directory, copied and pasted the executable file back into the ...local/Microsoft/Onedrive directory. Then things worked from the shortcut in my startmenu.
I am wondering if there is some update that is going on that deletes the file. I see the time stamp on the OneDriveStandaloneUpdater.exe file is this morning, could be when I started it this morning...maybe not...and I didn't do anything with it this morning (meaning I didn't re install today). Maybe delete that?
Of course this should all be fixed by MS.

Then download from the OneDrive website the latest Product Ring version (see below or google "OneDrive Download Production Ring") which is the 18.091.0506.0006 build.

Thanks for the link for the 18.091.0506.0006 build. The Onedrive.com site is serving up the older buggy version that I can not install over the version I had installed here in Windows7 which was a slightly newer build. The issue was I could not even uninstall it.
The 18.091.0506.0006 was able to upgrade and install properly but just to make sure I will uninstall One Drive and reinstall it. I wished the heck Microsoft would have a standalone uninstaller for Onedrive just for these cases.
