you are welcome …
in the site I've seen adobe says … for Photoshop cc 2018
open "regedit"
go to the folder Photoshop : that is hkey_current_user : software : adobe : Photoshop
right click on the folder 12.0 and select new- DWORD value (32bit)
name the new item "OverridePhysicalMemoryMB"
then right click on that same item and then click modify
inser the value 24000 and then put it on decimal… the value 24000 wil change to 147456 and click ok.
and it is all set.
I believe the "120.0" folder will not be the same if you are using diferent versions of Photoshop or other adobe products… but that I don't know… all I know is that for Photoshop cc 2014 the folder was "110.0"
adobe also refers that this value "24000" is for pcs that have 8 gb of ram and they don't specify the machine so I belive it is the same thing for surface 3 or 4...
However my surface pro 3 has only 4 gb of ram and it worked pretty well for me whit the the value "24000".
I'm really not na expert on this stuff … and it was pretty easy for me so it should be easy for everyone else.
i just hope Microsoft hears us and fix these bugs … i guess if all software worked fine before the Windows update and now it doesn't… the problema is not on adobe… but they were great in fixing it themselves and helping people. So thanks adobe for the troble shooting and please Microsoft… fix the error you created…
I think I speak for at least almost everyone…. All we want is a simple working machine.
with no bugs. and I sure think it's not that much to ask when we pay 1000 plus dollars or euros for what it is sayd to be the best piece of computer tech on the market.
sorry for the long answer… I just hope I helped...
