Oh no no please please don’t switch to Linux please no
Just do it. Switch to linux. I hear it’s a fantastic desktop OS and isn’t totally useless.
Go find some other site to troll as your posts are nothing but self-gratification.
Others here are at least relaying their frustrations / experiences they are having w/Windows 10, that may or may not help. Definitely helps me in that, it has proven there is no "one size fits all" when it comes to these errors. Another persons solution
/resolve isn't necessarily going to work others, essentially it's become a crap shoot.
The diagnostics end of Windows 10 hasn't gotten any better than the BSOD days and if anything, think it is worse. MS just put another "face" on everything making us users think it is for the better but it is definitely not, if it were then we'd have a clear
direction in which to go. Can only be thankful MS never entered the automotive industry because it'd be insane. Can you imagine pulling an OBD code that gave no sense of direction as where to start? Nauseates me to think about that.
And if you think I have no right to be here then think again - ask me tomorrow how my work computer made out on it's umpteenth try at installing April's Update. Besides wasting my time applying resolutions that fail to resolve it will have forced itself
to install the update, again, more wasted time. So until we perform a complete refresh (that may or may not work) we are going to be hounded to keep attempting to install 1803. The OS is becoming dumber by the minute making a not so "SMART" PC, becoming an
absolute joke.
Update (Aug 7, 2018... Just as I predicted, Windows Update tried once again to install 1803 (against my will) and finally the inevitable happened - so much for "active hours" helping out in this matter!!! Needed another paperweight like we needed another
hole in the head and that's exactly what I ended up with. Tried to troubleshoot with Startup Repair, System Restore, Go Back To Previous Build, etc, all failing miserably time and time again. This is nothing new to me though (why we were spot on with our prediction)
as been there done that far too many times to count with Windows 10 and its "mandatory updates", such a joke. Not happy nor am I going to pretend to be.
