Update Error 0x800706be for KB4103727

Got tired of trying to fix this.  Updated to version 1803.  Problems all solved.  Don't know if you can, but it worked for me.  Only downside: in typical Microsoft fashion, the update to 1803 took a total of almost 2.5 hours.

Same 'fix' for me. Had to have Destin Fl Geek Squad 'force' load and install 1803 via USB Drive , but now everything is working.  MS needs to keep on to of this for future updates!!!

To help us to help you and to properly get answers to your post you should include some minimum information.

1.  Device type. ie Desktop, Laptop, Tablet, Surface, Phone

2.  Who made it and model, HDD size. If home built what type motherboard, Intel, AMD, Drive size

3.  OS type, Home, Pro, Enterprise, etc

4.  Current build.  Go Settings, System. About. OS build XXXXXX.XXXX

 

KB4103727 keeps trying to install along with KB4134661 and Adobe Flash Player update KB4103729.

I have uninstalled several times and this continues. Please advise on these updates.

I will be Unsubscribing to this post as I have found a solution.  Took my PC to the Destin, FL Geek Squad and they used a USB 'force feed' of the 1803 Update on it.  This 'overrode' the 1709 issue, and seems to have solved my problem.  My PC is working fine.  Wish Microsoft had put this fix out for all of us a lot sooner; I am lucky I have a Geek Squad Tech Support package so it did not cost me.

The update downloads but won't finish installing:
