Update Error 0x800706be for KB4103727

I have the same question

I have a lenova yoga 260 I'm not getting an error message it's just not installing. I have reset 6 times and shut down 4 What can I do

Tried everything under the sun to fix this update error... except something that worked. Now I have a crippled install that doesn't function correctly. This OS and hardware is coming out of commission; my new build has the update already installed. Once out of commission I can take 4 days or so while on vacation to try to fix this and post my progress.

I'm going to devote my time now to staging all my applications on the new system build and move the hardware to this computer case. This one will only be used infrequently afterwards. Right now I need a functioning system with all my applications intact.

This has to be absolutely worst experience I have ever had with Windows since I built my first build in 2006 with XP Pro SP2. I find the only way to get my system back up with any normalcy is to do a complete and total ground up bare metal reinstall of the OS and every single application since I first built this version in January 2017. Microsoft should have left well enough alone with Windows 7 and the troubleshooting tools available in that OS.

I do video editing and motion graphics so I need a stable system that responds quickly and doesn't nag me to death to restart to attempt to install yet another update that is continuing to fail. Now objects I copy to the desktop and move around have a serious sense of latency when importing into After Effects. Any image copies of this OS are experiencing the same problem as this has been going on since May 8th.

I'm going on vacation in July so this will be the time to nuke the planet from space and start over from scratch. Meanwhile I have new hardware going into this PC case that has Win 10 Home with 1803 already installed. I need to get all my applications on that system and then this one will be relegated to a spare computer case. I'd be better off focusing my attention in getting that build up to par so i can again work in After Effects without undue latency.

Problem updating to last version.

PC did not load windows after critical update in 16 of May 2018 and I had to restore the windows to the previews version.

System restore did not work.

Repair pc did not work also.

Are we going to update it again or is it going to have a problem again?
