Windows 10 automatic update caused intel ac 9560 code 10 error

So my laptop was working fine, then suddenly the internet cut off, since then I can't connect to wifi.

I found out that there is no wifi option in the network settings.

After that, I also found out that intel wireless AC- 9560 encountered a code 10 error in device manager.

I checked windows uodupd and it said that there was an update installed today. I tried uninstalling that, and the wifi wifi is still broken.

I had the exact same problem on an Asus gaming laptop. I went into the device manager, disabled the driver, restarted, then went back into device manager and enabled and it worked immediately. Didnt have to go through bios. Good luck.

    Hi

    For me the solution was simple and basically can be considered obvious.

    A thought before proceeding: imagine if you bought a car and it worked like windows.. "yes, of course the brakes didnt work because you have incopattible windshield wipers.." or  "while you were slkeeping we updated the battery on your car to run on 36+2volts and hence before going to work today you must spend 4 hours reading the manual, visit your local delaer etc...."

    Anyway - the Intel website recommends installing the PC manufacturers version for the driver before trying their generic one first, so go to your manufacturers website and download the driver (using your friends/neighbours computer I assume) from there.  

    I tried installing the Intel one and kept getting the "your friendly windows is telling you you already have the best driver installed.." message - it was very helpful,  

    Ok microsoft has already wasted enough time from my life (this month) so hope you managed to pick up the solution between my rants

    Restart Your computer...…………..While Restarting hit f2 button for multiple times to open bios setup and in bios setup go the wireless section and select the first value and restore it to the factory settings

    Yes,  that was also my response on july 15.   Its an easy fix.  Recommend people try it.
