I had the exact same problem on an Asus gaming laptop. I went into the device manager, disabled the driver, restarted, then went back into device manager and enabled and it worked immediately. Didnt have to go through bios. Good luck.

So my laptop was working fine, then suddenly the internet cut off, since then I can't connect to wifi.
I found out that there is no wifi option in the network settings.
After that, I also found out that intel wireless AC- 9560 encountered a code 10 error in device manager.
I checked windows uodupd and it said that there was an update installed today. I tried uninstalling that, and the wifi wifi is still broken.

Hit restart on your laptop. Then spam f2 while it's rebooting. That should pull up the BIOS menu. Navigate to wireless and set the first value to factory defaults. Restart<br> your machine again and WiFi should be working again like normal.<br><br><br><br> <br> --- -

Thanks for this thread; I had exactly the same issue out of the blue with all of the same notifications and headaches and thought my laptop was fried for no clear reason. It was reassuring to read that others were having the same problem more or less at the same time.
On the advice of an IT friend (who no longer uses Windows) I uninstalled the Intel AC9560 driver then connected to my router via an ethernet cable and ran Device Manager. Under Actions I told it to "Scan for hardware changes".
Device Manager figured out that there was hardware (the AC9560) with no driver and sorted that out.
I unplugged the ethernet cable and had a WiFi icon back. Clicking on it brought up all of the nearby WiFi networks and I am back online. Hopefully this fix stays good. Resetting my laptop is hours of irritation I could do without.

2019-02-06T03:46:15+00:00 SOLUTION: I had the same problem and I fix it by uninstalling and reinstalling the Intel PROset/Wireless Software.
Finally, I'm able to fix this issue after struggling for 2 days.

I faced the exact issues mentioned in the above thread.
So I uninstalled IntelPROSet Wireless Software via Add or Remove programs and reinstalled the latest version downloaded from Intel site below (I downloaded it on another laptop, copied via pendrive to problematic laptop).
