Whenever we try to connect to each other's worlds through the Xbox app it says "Unable to connect to world". We can play together on a realms server, and can join other servers, just not each other.
I've changed my NAT type to open, and port forwarded all the required ports for the Xbox app. Still nothing.
I've tried using a VPN to several different countries but still has the same results.
We are both using Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition.
We have both uninstalled and reinstalled Minecraft, no luck.

I also have a similar problem, at home. We are all connected to the same network, If I create a game my kids can join it but if they create a game they can't join each other, this is frustrating because I can't always be there to create a game just so they can play together.
I've checked all the security settings on their accounts to allow them to play multiplayer games but it doesn't seem to work.
I have the same problem but on thr Nintendo switch and dont know what to do

See the support for minecraft are just ignoring my emails!
He is on xbox im on PC both same version of the game.
When i first bought the game it was fine then think an update messed it all up.
