    hello-

Ive been trying to fix this for weeks.  I did the first download and it was installing and then BAM failed .. again...

Im also as of late missing my proxy27.dll   couldn this be part of my problem?   I can't seem to find where to get that.   I didn't realize i even had a problem until I tried to log into my second life viewer and got the error message i was missing the proxy27.dll  I had just been logged in hours before

Could one problem be the cause of the other?

Thanks for all the help you have given,  I have learned new stuff even if it isn't working for me :)

I don't have that app and I doubt it is the issue.

I have a surface book 2 that I did a factory reset (recovery). Ran into this error almost immediately.

Downloaded and installed the update manually - fixed the problem.
