Just resolved the error code 0xc03f300d by following the instructions on this Youtube video.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X7SHStrS7Uk

My issue was I could not download any Apps from the STORE. The problems was applicable to all my MS devices.

Thought I would share to help any other frustrated MS owners. and a big thank you to the youtube ' INFOBridge'  for creating this helpful video

    Best of luck.

    Hello,

I thought it had already been part resolved centrally as apps now installing.

The store itself seems to be playing up a little bit especially if trying to get into "My apps", "My account".  A message comes up saying "we were n't able to connect to the store" something about error in server or network connection and then a new error code....I just click retry and the store opens up immediately.

The error code is 0x80072ee2 which I think is a Windows Update error code (??).  I have not had any recent updates, none since 31/03.  Also just noticed today that Mail App not updating.  Maybe related, maybe not - doesn't matter - there is more than one way to skin a cat so to speak.

    Regards,

Good morning - downloaded some windows updates from Microsoft last night that resolved all Microsoft Store Error code issues I reported on April 10. My  Dell windows 8.1 tablets are now all able to download and install apps from the Microsoft Store with no error codes. In my case the error code 0xc03f300d has been addressed and fixed - Thank you Microsoft and to all who assisted in coming up with the fix.

My suggestion for the windows 8.1 users that are still having the error code 0xc03f300d issue  is to perform Windows Update until there are no more updates to add to your device. Under Windows Update/Change Settings - my settings for windows update are:

    1. install updates automatically
    2. Give me recommended updates the same way I receive important updates
    3. Give me updates for other Microsoft products when I update windows

I then waited patiently for updates to install and restarted my computer after each update cycle until there were no more updates. You can then change your windows update settings back to what you want. Good luck to everyone and if there is still an issue don't be shy to call and report your issue to Microsoft.

    Hello,

All working as well as ever now. No store account access issues  and no  new  error codes.  All sorted as 6 updates eventually landed this afternoon.

No need to mess around changing anything.  Be nice to know why it happened in the first place .....ahh life's mysteries .....and it's too short to worry about such things!

Regards to all and hope all your 8.1's are fully functioning now.

This problem seemed to be overcome although it has again reared its ugly head today in that I cannot use Minesweeper with the same error code as before. Since this problem started I have not been able to log into My Account which, I assume, is where the root of the problem lies. I am up to date with windows updates so that I feel that Microsoft have not yet addressed the issue but that some people have managed to design partial work-arounds. I doubt somehow that this problem will ever be resolved satisfactorily as Microsoft would prefer to wash their hands of both Windows 7 and Windows 8.1.
